Ever since the Jewells moved to Huntsville, we now take turns traveling back and forth to visit. (It’s an easy Hour and a Half drive) Alison and I packed up Will and Addie to head over and check out the Huntsville Botanical Gardens (which Christy had told us were AMAZING for the kiddos). We WILL be going back again now that it’s warmed up. Unfortunately we went on an out of the ordinary COLD day, and there was LOTS of water fun that we didn’t get to partake in.
Before we hit the Botanical Gardens, we went to lunch at Chick-Fil-A to eat and have some playtime.
Then it was off to the Gardens. They have these REALLY neat Treehouses throughout the entire Gardens. All of them are sponsored by different local businesses, and each one is different.
There is also a little train city set up with tracks winding through that you can stand and watch. Of course, all 3 babies LOVED it!
They have a really neat Children’s Section as well, but most of it is centered around water, so we’ll have to go back for that later!
Some of the treehouses were still a little bit big for Addie.
Then we found a ball pit, and everyone was happy.
We ended our visit with a trip to the fishpond, where the babies ate more snacks than they actually fed to the fish. Can’t wait to go back this summer!!
