18 Months!!

Happy 18 Month Birthday to Addison!! I can’t believe it’s been a year and a half since we first brought her home! She is quite the little bundle of energy these days! Once her feet hit the floor in the morning, she does not stop. She keeps us busy, but we are having SO much fun with her!

At her 18 month checkup, the asked we go see a pediatric ENT. She’s had a few ear infections, and they weren’t going away as easily as they should be. So, they scheduled an appointment for us the next day. Meanwhile, Addie got a great 18 month report. She’s doing everything she’s supposed to at this age. She’s still very tiny, but as long as she stays ON the charts, the doctor is okay with it. She is 19 lbs (3-5%) and 31 inches tall (20%).

At her 18 month Checkup:

At the ENT, they did a hearing test and stuck a camera in both ears. The camera revealed she had lots of fluid just sitting in her middle ear. The doctor decided our best bet was to go ahead and put tubes in both ears. He assured us it was a quick, easy surgery, and that it would make Addie MUCH more comfortable! So, surgery was scheduled for December 15.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ryan had to work during Thanksgiving, so Addie and I packed up and headed to my parents house. Unfortunately, a dear family friend passed away that week, so plans got a little jumbled. However, we still had a wonderful time seeing all of our family! Addie and I went and had tacos with some of my dad’s side of the family on Thanksgiving afternoon. Liz, Chris, and Penny came later that night to my parent’s house, then we all headed back out to spend the majority of the day with Dad’s side of the family again.

Friday night, my mom, Aunt Pam, Briarly, Lauren, and Uncle Barry all met us at my parent’s house to visit for the day/next morning. So glad we got to spend time with them!!

Playtime for Wiggy’s Birthday!!

All the great’s got together for a little playtime and some cupcakes to celebrate the littlest of cousins turning ONE! Penny is the youngest…for now. We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Girl Brannon…which will hopefully be SOON!! In the meantime, these babies know how to celebrate.  

Atlanta Zoo

Addie and I got to go to Atlanta Zoo this weekend with Chris, Liz, Wiggy, GiGi, and Granddaddy! We had SO much fun! We stayed for almost THREE HOURS with two ONE year olds, and no one had a meltdown! Amazing!!
