Happy Anniversary!!

Three years ago today, Ryan and I were married on Clearwater Beach. It was THE perfect wedding. No planning. No stress. Just us. We called my brother the week before we were getting married, and asked if they had plans the next weekend. They didn’t. So, we had a wedding date. I was in Evansville the week before wrapping up house stuff, so I went wedding dress shopping with my mom. We found the perfect white sundress at Macy’s. For $8. On the clearance rack. I LOVED it. My mom also bought Ryan a new white polo from American Eagle so that he didn’t feel left out of the shopping trip. It was also on clearance. $12. So, Ryan’s wedding outfit cost more than mine. :)

Chris and Liz drove to Florida where we had a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment/hotel we were staying in and spent the weekend with us. We had a BLAST!! Saturday morning, we headed to the beach, where Chris married us (he’s ordained) right down at the edge of the water. Then, we went and had a FABULOUS lunch and drinks at one of our favorite beach shack restaurants. Later that night we headed out to the Pier 60 Sunset Festival (that happens every night) and listened to music, looked through all the vendors, watched Chris bond with a little monkey, and ate more yummy food.

It’s CRAZY how much our life has changed in these last 3 years! We’ve lived in Indiana, Florida, and Alabama. Moved into 5 different houses, in 4 different cities. Ryan has had 3 different jobs (all with CSX). I finished school for x-ray. We had a baby. We put 100,000 miles on our car. And we’ve met tons of wonderful people along the way! We’ve definitely kept ourselves busy the last three years! I can’t wait to see what’s next! Happy Anniversary, Ryan! I love you!!

Celebrations All Around

The first weekend in September, we headed to Tennessee for a weekend of celebrations. My cousin Jessica married Micah Aubert. The wedding was at my Aunt and Uncle’s house, and was absolutely beautiful! We were so happy to get to watch her on her big day, as well as visit with most of my dad’s side of the family.

This last picture is all of the Schweizer family minus 8 of us. :)

Before we headed out on Monday to come back to Alabama, we went to my nephew Iain’s 4th birthday party. Iain had his party out at the pool of the hotel we were all staying at, and it was much colder than anyone anticipated, but Iain had a good party regardless.

Can I just say, I can NOT believe it’s been FOUR years since Iain was born! It doesn’t seem like THAT long ago that I was meeting him for the first time!

Addie is very lucky to have SO many fun cousins to grow up with! And even luckier that she sees them all on a pretty regular basis!

These are the cousins that were at Iain’s party to celebrate with him.

So, we had a VERY fun (but quick!) weekend with everyone, and can’t wait to see everybody soon!
