Edisto Beach. Day 1.

GiGi and Granddaddy chose Edisto Beach, SC this year for our annual beach vacation. None of us had ever been there, and it took us a minute to adjust to the new surroundings. We're VERY used to white sandy beaches and crystal blue water. This was neither of those. This sand was FULL of shells and sea grass, and the water was much darker than we were used to. All that being said, we ended up having a fabulous time, and the girls LOVED every minute of it!

Addie, and I ended up riding with GiGi, and then Ryan and Sassy brought my Jeep up the next day. Liz and Penny met us there that Saturday, so the first day was just the girls.
On our way, we passed a "Pick your own Strawberries" patch. Addie was DONE riding in the car, and wanted out, so we stopped and picked some strawberries.

 

 

We headed to the Beach House after that, got our keys, and tried to start getting settled in. Liz and Penny arrived, we fed the girls princesses a late lunch/early dinner and headed to the beach to check it out.

 

 

It was both girls first time in the Atlantic Ocean.
