First Day of 2K!

Today was Addie’s first day of 2K today (which is preschool for 2 Year Olds).

We went on Friday to her “Meet the Teacher” day, and she seemed to really like both her teachers, as well as all the toys in the classroom! We got her folder with TONS of info in it, along with all of our security info (we have to have passes to swipe us into the buildings, and then release cards to actually pick Addie up). She also received a sweet handwritten note from her teachers welcoming her to their class and telling her how excited they were to have her this year.

Unfortunately, Addie stays up WAY too late on a regular basis, and in turn doesn’t usually get up early. So she wasn’t TOO thrilled to be woken up this morning. But, nonetheless, here she is on her very first day of 2K.

People on facebook pointed out it looks like she is asking for her prize for posing for pictures in this one. Ha. She probably was…

She then told me she would drive “Addie’s Car” to school this morning. Oh my…. I thought we had AT LEAST 14 more years before THIS argument…apparently not.

She immediately asked for her sunglasses, of course. Which I was hesitant to give her, as I KNEW it would be a fight to get them off once she got to school. Luckily, she was distracted by the big water fountain out in front of the Wee Center, so I was able to get them off without a fight.

She had a WONDERFUL first day, and I am so excited about her school year! I think she’s going to love it!
