Addie’s First (and hopefully only) Surgery

Poor Addie had to get tubes put in her ears. Ear problems run in our family. We’ve all had to get tubes put in. So after a few infections and rounds of antibiotics, the ENT decided tubes were the way to go. One of my best friends decided she would come along for the excitement, so at 5 am, Christy, Addie, and I arrived at the hospital. The WAIT took 2+ hours, but the surgery itself was 5 minutes. Addie was quite the little trooper considering she couldn’t have ANYTHING to eat or drink before hand. She did wonderfully, and we were home by 10:30am. Hopefully this will put a stop to the ear problems, and maybe make her sleep a bit more soundly.
