Addie’s 1st Birthday Bash

I can not believe our tiny little baby is almost a year old!! Since her birthday is on Thursday this year, we decided to have her birthday party the Saturday before. I found her birthday outfit a few months ago online and ordered it. So, I decided to base her party theme around her outfit. Hot Pink, Lime Green, and Zebra. I had lots of help from the wonderful friends I’ve met through my mom’s group getting the invitations, decorations, and party favors ready to go! I found her the perfect cake design, and prayed for no rain! :) We had HORRIBLE thunderstorms all night Thursday and part of the day Friday, but Saturday was PERFECT (although VERY hot!!). Although there was quite a bit of mud still in our backyard, we made do. We set up Addie’s pool, her little swingset/slide, a ball pit (thanks, Christi!!), and her birthday present from Ryan and I, her bouncy house. (I was SO excited to find such a great deal on her bouncy house so we could get it for her! I think we’ll get LOTS of use out of it!!) Addie invited all of her friends (and she let their parents come along! :) , and they all seemed to have a good time! She also had TONS of family come to celebrate with her!! My parents came, Aunt Pam and Uncle Barry, the Whatleys, Kelsey (who drove all the way from Jacksonville!), Brookie and Elias, and even Chris!! (Sadly, Penny had the croup last week, so Liz stayed home with her, but we sure did miss having them there with us!!) It was such a fun party, and we are so appreciative of everyone who came out and made Addison’s day SO special!! You all are the Best! <3 And, of course, here are TONS of birthday pictures. :)

    oh I'm so sorry we missed this!!! She looks adorable, the party adorable, the backyard looks great! What a good job mom and dad. The cake was too cute. I think my favorite photo is this last one ha! You guys did it up right! Your mom said she's teething 3 at the same time. whew. Elias looked like he had fun too! Is Brooke's dude a good guy? hope so.
