Bed Head

So anyone who has seen Addie first thing when she wakes up always just laughs at her. They can never BELIEVE her hair is THAT big all on its own. We have a video monitor in her bedroom, so we know she’s not sneaking out and partying all night. She does, however, sometime turn around and sleep with her head towards the foot of the bed.

As a result of her twisting and turning, she gets some of the most AMAZING bed head you’ve ever seen.

 

This is why you also see her in pigtails 90% of the time.

 

Pretty impressive, huh?! Ha.

Playtime

We took Addie and Elias (and Baby Sawyer) down to the  river to play today. Addie LOVES to splash, find rocks to throw, and basically just get dirty and wet. Elias…not so much. He does, however, like to throw the rocks. So, he convinced Addie to find them, bring them to him, and then he could throw them without getting dirty. And she was happy to help him out. Ha.

We were playing at the park, and the Ice Cream Truck came by. Addie, Elias, and Will all got popsicles from the Ice Cream man.

Water Table Fun

I found a water table on clearance at Target this week. I meant to get her one last year, because she LOVES them, but it was nice to pull out something new and fun for her to do this week.

We had a fun St Patrick’s Day this year! We had a playdate in the morning, lunch out with friends, then DaDa met us at the park this afternoon to play.

Baby Saw-Ya

Baby Sawyer is here (Elias’ new little brother)! Also known as 2.0, and Addie LOVES Baby Saw-Ya (as she calls him). We have to watch her carefully though, because within 10 minutes of him being home from the hospital, she had already tried to feed him 2 veggie straws and let him taste her sucker. Sigh.

Cowgirl Addie

Today was Cowgirl/Cowboy Day in Addie’s class at school. They were supposed to wear an outfit to go with what they were learning. Here’s Addie right before she left for school.

Boppy Time

Apparently, Addie and Elias didn’t get the memo that Boppy’s are for Babies. They have become VERY attached to them, and love to lounge around on them while watching cartoons.

Zoo Day

With the nice weather here, it’s time to start going to the zoo again! APPARENTLY, the new part will be opening soon at the Birmingham zoo, but we heard that last year as well.
