Jenna was kind enough to host a playdate for the GREATS. I think it’s so much fun that they all live within a couple of hours of each other. We spent most of the day playing outside, and it was the perfect day for it! We grilled out, played in the pool, played in the sandbox, played in the sprinkler, and blasted Aunt Haylee with a water canon. Doesn’t get much better than that. :)

Splashpad
When we bought our zoo membership, I was really excited about the summertime! They have a splashpad for the kids to play on, and we finally got the chance to try it out. Addie liked it for the most part, but there were a few tears when she looked into one of the sprinklers RIGHT before it came on and shot her in the face. However, we dried off her little face, and she kept going back for more.
Cousins
When Penny came to visit a couple of weeks ago, we took the girls to get some pictures professionally done. This was our Mother’s Day gift to my mom. They turned out beautifully!! It was so much fun, and they were so cooperative! We may have to make this an annual tradition. :)
Milkshakes, Birds, and Bows
Our mom’s group got to go to Red Robin (which we love!!!) for a tour, milkshakes, to meet Red the Robin, color, all kinds of fun stuff! They had a YUMMY milkshake station set up where everyone could make their own milkshakes and add candy, syrups, sprinkles, anything you could have wanted…
Our milkshakes were delicious! Addie and Audrey took a quick break to enjoy them, and to discuss their matching hairbows. :)
After we enjoyed our milkshakes, we got to meet Red the Robin. Everyone loved him! Addie just about leapt out of my arms to get Red to hold her. :)
It was so nice of them to open up early for us and we had a wonderful time (and a yummy lunch)!!
Earth Day
We headed to the Botanical Gardens for an Earth Day celebration with some of our Mom’s group friends. We walked through the gardens, but the kids’ favorite part of the day was, by far, playing and splashing in the fountains.
